Frequently asked questions
- Do QR codes expose my data?
- No. Each label's token identifies a tool — it never authorizes access. Scanning a label without an authenticated ToolHours session doesn't reveal anything about your workspace.
- Can I import existing tools?
- Yes. Bring your existing tool inventory in via CSV import, then print labels for the batch once they're in ToolHours.
- Does it work offline?
- The Android app queues scans and timer events while you're offline in the shop and syncs automatically once you're back on a connection.
- What printers are supported?
- The Brother PT-P710BT is supported first, over Bluetooth from the Android app. More printer models are on the roadmap.
